Brighten up your breakfast with a splash of colour and a dash of imagination.

Sunnyside Grill asked me to paint some corporate designs on these three walls, and to make them go from simple to having an artists' touch!

Sunnyside Grill is known as Ontario's best all-day breakfast franchise, established in 2004. However, the story goes all the way back to the 1930's in Treviso, Italy with a young woman named Ivy. Ivy had started serving fresh breakfast for the village workers in her home's patio area and with time, became famous to all the nearby villages. When people would ask where to find Ivy's tables, people would say, “its simple, Ivy’s grill is on the Sunnyside of the street" now forming the Sunnyside Grill we have today with recipes passed on generationally form Ivy.

These murals were heart-warming to paint and brought an amazing energy to this location! There definitely were some struggles, such as; painting on a high ladder in the kitchen, or bending side-ways to be able to reach corners of murals.

Overall, I am in love with how this project turned out and had such a fun couple days painting on site with the lovely staff!
