Paris Cafe Mural

Client: Extendicare Winbourne Park

Location: Ajax, ON | January 2026

This mural was created for an upper-level space in a retirement home, located directly off the elevators and leading out to the balcony patio. As the first thing residents and visitors see upon arrival, the goal was to transform the area into a warm, inviting café setting that feels both immersive and uplifting.

Inspired by the charm of Paris, the design features detailed, old-world buildings on either side—each reflecting classic French architecture. Thoughtful elements like a pastry window, café table, bicycle, and signage were requested to be incorporated to bring the scene to life, while soft florals and greenery add a natural, romantic touch throughout. Between the buildings, the composition opens into an animated street view that visually “leads” toward the patio beyond.
