This mural transforms an ordinary elevator ride into a lush, floral escape. With graceful orchid blooms cascading across both walls, the design blends soft purples, whites, and reds to create an elegant and tranquil atmosphere. One side showcases a close-up of petals, while the other features orchid stems, bringing a sense of movement and harmony to the space.
Painting this mural came with its challenges—working in a moving elevator meant late-night sessions, strong paint fumes, and a bit of creative problem-solving. With no power source inside, I had to rely on a battery-operated machine for my projector. And since the lights couldn’t be turned off, I layered frog tape over the LEDs to dim the space enough for accurate projection.
Murals like these are all about adaptability—learning to work with different environments, textures, and limitations to bring a vision to life. Despite the hurdles, the final result is a serene and sophisticated space that adds a touch of nature to every ride.
