Transport yourself to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks with this serene mural of the Great Wall of China, painted on the second floor of Kennedy Lodge.

Unveiled just in time for Chinese New Year, this mural greets residents and visitors the moment they step off the elevator, offering a calming yet striking presence. With a soothing palette of blues and greens, the artwork creates a tranquil atmosphere, perfectly balancing simplicity with elegance.

The response from the residents was heartwarming—they loved how the mural brought a piece of home and history into their daily lives, especially done as a Chinese New Year surprise. Its calming effect has made it a favourite spot for lounging and conversation, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

This project was a joy to create and adds another layer of cultural pride and artistry to the vibrant atmosphere of Kennedy Lodge.
